Dinner out

Dinner out with some work friends.  I took this photo to show my husband my outfit before I went out, so you get to see it too.

I love this dress for many reasons

1.  Perfect print
2.  Got it on sale from J.Crew for $50.  Used to be $200!  I feel like I've won something.
3.  It's a size 10.  This is a big deal for me.
4. Matches my phone

A rare glimpse inside our house.  I wore this to work on a hot, hot day.  Skirt is flowy, no meetings so I felt okay showing shoulder in the office.

Don't worry, I did wear shoes to work.  Probably my gold flats.  Hair is pulled up in a messy bun.

Hipster at breakfast

I wore this on my day off.  The husband and I went to brunch.  The girl at the counter asked if I was going somewhere special after.   We went to Meijer.

 Dress is actually a skirt, folded and belted.  Hair is twisted and pinned to my head with LOTS of pins.

Casual day

 Casual Jane.  Jean and/or shorts get just as many comments as my wackier outfits because everyone is so used to seeing me in dresses.  I wore this to work, but no meetings today.

 I just bought this yellow bag from Madewell.  I've been on the hunt for big yellow tote for ages now.
I added a bit of pizazz with my silver bracelet.

Plaid dress

 I've had this dress a long time.  Don't remember where it came from, but my guess is H&M.  It's a great cut, what with the A-Line and all, but booby enough that I almost always need to wear a tank top underneath.  I wore this to work, but no meetings today.  This verges on too casual for client meetings unless I wear heels.

 Hair is a dutch braid just on one side.
